I enjoy the idea of him looking for a savior but obviously not being able to find it in the Bible. I know I know, its been done before, but there’s just something about it. Its really nice to see Jay-Z is serving as a mentor to these new up and coming rappers. Wale shares a little advice given to him by Jay-Z in the latest issue of Billboard- Via Xclusives Zones
“Jay-Z, essentially, is my business adviser,” Wale says. “Him, Rich and [Roc Nation’s] John Meneilly. I know Jay has a personal place in his heart for Ambition. I remember one time I was on the phone with Jay, asking him, ‘What did I do [wrong]? What can I do differently?’ He was like, ‘Maybe you just didn’t come with that single. You made a solid first album. But you didn’t come up with that single.’ That just added fuel to my fire.”

A lot of people never see the grind, the hard work it takes to make it. Correction, MOST people never see the grind. They see you when you have already made it. Lets take Maybach Music Group CEO Rick Ross as an example. Some people love him, some people hate him, I respect him! Correction officer or not, selling dope on an iphone or not, this man has ambition and hustle. He is a perfect example of a self made man in America. He’s living he American Dream and he inspires me. Look at this video, did you know he used to work with Erik Sermon? Yeah, EPMD Erick Sermon, some of you don’t even know who that is (good 90′s rap trivia). So Rozay is NOW blowing up but he’s been grinding for over 10 years, literally. Back then he wasn’t Rick Ross, he was the Teflon Don.
